Short Term

Complete the MSN-PMHNP program and clinical requirements by August 2026, successfully complete all remaining didactic coursework, clinical practicum hours, and the capstone project with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8, as documented in official transcripts and Medatrax clinical logs.

Obtain national certification and state licensure by Oct 2026, pass the ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner board certification examination on the first attempt and secure full APRN licensure with prescriptive authority in the state of Nevada.
Long Term

Establish independent PMHNP practice focused on rural, underserved populations by January 2027, launch or join a practice that delivers psychiatric care (including telehealth) to incarcerated, rural, and/or veteran populations in Nevada, with measurable outcomes including a panel of at least 80 active patients and documented improvements in access metrics.

Advance leadership and systems improvement in correctional mental health by July 2029, design and implement at least one nurse-led quality improvement or telehealth initiative within a correctional or community mental health setting that demonstrates improved patient outcomes (i.e., reduced psychiatric crisis events or increased treatment engagement) and present the results at a professional conference or through publication.
